You know that easy mac isn't the same. BUT I'm glad you were able to get it together. :)
woop! woop! a shoutout to meee. for without me there would have been no american items to feast on in the first place! i'm so glad you used the stuff that i sent you. ahem hem especially after getting the can of yams through customs caused you repeated grief!
looks tasty! maybe one day i'll get to taste the famous Carlton sweet potato pudding i've heard so much about.
chas, your blogs help me to get through the dreary, stressful, exhausting (haha u get the point) dc days! stay on top of it man! some of us are religous readers ;-)
To your previous post, I agree that Americans lack real patriotism. In terms of our country as a whole I do not think that we are as united as we think. As you know, I just got back from visiting family in Arizona (land of the big box mart aka walmart, SUV's and gun toting anti immigrant enthusiasts) and I always feel disconnected and out of place with my version of "America". Maybe we are so tied up with individuality and our personal gains that we have lost our connection with the people around us. We had this talk already about money and how it influences and drives everything out here so I dont want to get into it again. Hmmm but maybe our drive for money and bigger and better things are the only things that tie us as American together anymore?
i'm taking ur advice and not proofreading my thoughts. ("I wrote it but i didnt read it" dont tell my dad lol)
